Oils

Madeleine's original Oil paintings.
Due to a nomadic lifestyle, Madeleine hasn't painted in oils for almost 20 years. She's very excited to dive back into the medium this year and see what unfolds....the adventure is just beginning. Below you will find a collection of some of her recent studies from an art residency on the Pacific Coast and Botanical Beach. These explorations feel like a fresh opening into a relationship with this rich medium that she's excited to deepen and evolve into over time.
