Shipping Costs for Originals
For now, there are two Shipping options for originals:
Budget Cost is 20$ CAD
This is an untracked, slow service from Mexico
(Delivery time usually between 30 - 60 days and not 100% guaranteed)
Express Cost is 95$ CAD
This is tracked, express shipping from Mexico
(Delivery time approx. 2 - 7 business day with Fedex, UPS or equivalent depending on location)

Shipping Costs for Prints
All prints are sent with Standard Shipping which is a tracked service.
Prints are produced and shipped worldwide from either EU, UK, USA or AU depending on your location.
(Time depends on location but approx. 7 - 30 business days)
Costs vary slightly depending on the destination country:
European Union
15 $ CAD
UK
10 $ CAD
Rest of World (USA and Canada incl.)
20 $ CAD

When you buy a print on my website, you pay the price of the print + the flat rate shipping fee directly on my site and that is it (you will see this reflected in checkout).
An example:

Shipping costs 15$
Total cost = 29$ CAD

DUTY
Some countries charge duties for items coming from outside of the country and this is out of our control.
You are responsible for any duty charged by your country.

Shipping Times
Shipping times vary on your location, it depends on what you've ordered and where you are having it shipped.
ORIGINALS BUDGET OPTION (20$CAD)
Budget option (from Mexico) CAN take up to 60 days, and delivery is not guaranteed / at your risk sorry!
ORIGINALS EXPRESS OPTION (95$ CAD)
I recommend express shipping for special Originals, which is tracked, express shipping from Mexico.
Time takes approx. 2 - 7 business days (plus 2 days for packaging) with Fedex, UPS or equivalent.
PRINT TIMES
Prints are shipped from the EU, UK, USA or AU. Standard shipping is the default option on my site.
It is tracked usually takes within 5 - 30 days once the item is printed.
(each one is printed on demand for you and production adds another 3 days approx.)

about express / overnight shipping which usually costs between 45 - 65 $ CAD depending on your location.
Print on Demand
Printed items are created "print on demand" which is a process that helps reduce waste and emissions.
This means your product is printed just for you after your order ◡̈ in a location closest to your country.
This reduces wasted inventory and can also reduce emissions as the item travels from a location closer to you.
(Current production is from either EU, UK, USA or AU).
The Print company I use, is one that I found by testing multiple services over the past couple of years for quality and ecological impact.
I chose this one because of the option to create high-quality Giclée prints on a beautiful Hahnemühle German etching paper.
I love this paper because it is the closest I have found to the feel and texture of Watercolour paper.
It is FSC* certified (coming from sustainably managed forests) and vegan.
They also are one of the few I've found to ship worldwide, plastic-free ... though if you order a size above A4 (8.5x11 ") it will be shipped rolled in a tube which does have a small plastic closure at the ends.
Ecological Packaging and Printing
All small prints and originals are shipped in paper recyclable mailers and are plastic free.

3% of all profits are donated towards various ecological and social organizations - check it out here!
This is important for me...as no matter what...products and shipping have an environmental and social cost.
It is my hope that these donations help offset the impact on our land, waters and people through production and shipping. Every purchase you make, adds a little more energy to a great organization working for positive change.

Returns
What is your return policy?
We accept returns if there is a product defect, or it was damaged in shipping etc. within 30 days.
If it is the wrong size, or print due to a mistaken choice, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund since all items are "Print-on-Demand" and custom made for you. (Please think carefully before you purchase ;)
Originals can be returned if they are in the condition your received them in, and you changed your mind for some reason.
However, you must pay the shipping and a 50$ USD fee.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has not yet gone to production, you can cancel it by contacting hi@artofmadeleine.com ASAP.
If your order has already gone to print, you cannot cancel it because it is being made just for you - sorry!​​
The refund process through the online store takes some time which is out of my control.
If you request a refund before something goes to print, you will need to wait to be refunded to your original payment method between 3-10 business days.
