Big House - Front Room - PRINT

This is one of three paintings dedicated to my childhood family cottage. The window is from our front room that looks ou onto the water and dock where all the action happens in my great grandmother's house "The Big House". This weird clock and fishnet hanging is unmistakeable to everyone. It's so hard to tell the time, but time seems to slip away on the island anyway.

It is our family cottage home on Wolfe Island, Ontario. It has been passed down by 5 generations. Shared now by too many great great great grandkids to ever keep track of :)This painting is one in a series of three I did, small vignettes of scenes in the old character house that are etched in the hearts, minds, bodies and spirits of every branch of this ever growing and loving family tree.
