Tiny House Study - PRINT

This is one of my first ever watercolour paintings!

"Tiny House Study" was one of my first still life watercolour attempts. Painted while living in a "tiny house" in my friends backyard, while I completed my Masters degree in Art Education at the University of Victoria.

This is when I started to experiment with Watercolour as a more eco-friendly and travel convenient medium (compared to previous oils). In this painting I was practicing glazing techniques and styles of watercolour that inspired me.  I still remember sitting on that tiled floor, with sunlight pouring in...looking deeply at the peach, apple and teacup...letting layers dry and observing the ways I could play with this new medium :)
