A plein air study of wild cyclamens I stumbled across while hiking in Crete, Greece. Speechless.
A month on this magical island in the Spring, I discovered over 50 wildflower species I'd never known. Many of which are endemic to the special place and climate of Crete. I've always loved cyclamens, and to find these precious white beings springing up near rocks, forests and streams was such a gift!
It's always tricky to watercolour white flowers on a white page...but I love trying ;)
